Does it hurt?

Some people do find it an uncomfortable procedure so an anaesthetic cream is applied to the area prior to treatment. For lip enhancements a dental block is offered to enable the procedure to be carried out comfortably. This can also be used for naso-labial and marionette line treatments if so desired.
The treatment can be completed in 15-30 minutes and it is possible to return to work afterward. Some redness, swelling or bruising can occur and in the case of lip treatments swelling will almost always occur.
